Last Friday night the Benbrook Bobcat Soccer team took on district opponent and the #1 ranked team in the State, the Diamond Hill-Jarvis Eagles. In front of a home crowd, the Bobcats played a strong, competitive game but fell short 4-1.
Kaden Robinson got the Bobcats on the board scoring a breakaway goal taking a 1-0 early lead. At the end of the first half it was tied 1-1 as the Bobcats were putting a very competitive fight to the Eagles.
In the second half the Bobcats kept the fight and applying the pressure, but came up short in what was a hard fought game.
This Friday night, the Bobcats will be taking on Eastern Hills at home for a chance to lock in the #4 seed in the playoffs and a showdown with the Castleberry Lions.
