As Benbrook Middle High School is a relatively newer school, so is the high school's swimming program. LadyCat swimmer, Keely Fyffe, is paving the way as she competes in the Fort Worth area 4A circuit.

Competitive swimming is one of the toughest sports there is and to add to the grind Benbrook High School Freshman Keely Fyffe defines commitment and effort as she puts in long hours of training at an off site facility.

Her hard work is paying off! At last week's Southwest Winter Invitational Meet held at FWISD's Wilkerson Greines Activities Center, Keely finished with a personal record of 46.23 seconds in the 50 yard freestyle event and competed in her first ever 100 yard freestyle race finishing with an impressive 1minute/47seconds.

Next Keely will compete in the Cougar Shootout to be held at the Wilkerson Greines Activities Center on January 7th as she prepares for the January 19th 4A District Meet taking place at the Wilker Greines Activities Center as well.
