The past week has been a record breaking time for the Benbrook High School Volleyball team. Last Friday night BHS took the win against YWLA at FWISD’s Wilkerson-Greines Arena and Abbie Miller (Senior, Libero) reached a remarkable record and career milestone picking up her 1000th career dig!

And last night in front of a charged home crowd, the LadyCats beat Carter Riverside solidifying a 3PEAT District Championship! Breaking more records, Benbrook Volleyball is 36-0 in district play over the past 3 years! Coach Davies, Head Volleyball Coach, was excited with the night, “It feels great to be undefeated and win it back to back to back, we handled our business.”

The night also featured the graduating class of 2023 with Senior Night honoring Volleyball players: Zoey Smothermon, Kyla Moore, Regan Larivieve, Lauren Howson, Abbie Miller, Alexis Garcia and Jadyn Harris. All these seniors said they value the relationships made and also are proud of their historic run!
